How about considering Earthquake is a magical attack, that halves the target mdef, then hits?

Hint with orc lord: Kill him fast so he doesn't get to use earthquake more than once or twice. With a party of 6-7 moderately geared characters (we often do it with a mastersmith, minstrel, high priest, and SD sinxes, plus whatever else) you will all survive (wizards are an exception).

Actually, if a crusader/paladin sacrifice 5 party members and some mvp uses earthquake, only the crusader/paladin will die.

Wrong. The first character sacrificed will live, as the damage to it is transfered to the sac'er, who will then die, causing the rest of the 4 members to die.

wee old post will anyone see this? anyways the way bb makes things move isn't random it depends on the way you move before you bb. thats why i like to walk through someone before i bb so it pulls them towards me xD
