doddler would you mind explaining when to use saftey rings over yoyoclip? I understand that you can't perfect dodge skills but with normal attacks is there a point where saftey rings are better?

Well, I kept the Ankle thing sort of secret on my server, since I don't like it ^^... Anti Evil - Either Set or simply a tank for next generation enemies ;)

Congrats on the +8 helm[1]. It must hurt you, that you had to break 28 helms[1]. That's a lot. For some strange reason, here in pRO (Philippines), I only have to break 7-10 mufflers[1] to get a +7 muffler[1]. But then again, I always have my priest friend bless & gloria me. And I use my 99 HighWiz with 99 dex. So, i don't know.

You have to consider, that this is window-def.
Ingame-def(aka. Window-def): Equipdef + Upgrades
Real-Def: Equipdef + (2/3 * Upgrades)

Hey Doddler
I know I'm from a private server, but after reading about 10 or more of your blog entries, I have to say this;
1.) I totally agree about the price of iRO. If it were cheaper, you could pull my butt off of the private server in no time. I almost started playing iRO, but I thought "heh, I could get on WoW for this price" and decided against myself and stuck with the private server I am on.
2.) I am deeply amazed at how good you are!
3.) This is more of a question, how do get those Old Card Albums?
The Private Server I play on is low rate, and the customs, for the most part, suck. I use regular RO gear, because it's better anyway.
I have about 100000 more things I could say, but, I don't have the time!
It'd be wonderful to hear back from you!

old card albums OCA's can be acquired by killing misstress and if im not mistaken jokers still drop them at a lower frequency

Ren: The use for safety rings is pretty simple. With 60 real armor defense, the 6 defense from 2 safety rings reduces the damage by about 15%. 2x flash will block about 10% of regular melee attacks, and is great for tanking large numbers of regular monsters (especially since physical defense drops when mobbed). When tanking strong monsters with powerful skills, such as MVPs though, perfect dodge won't help you at all, which makes safety rings considerably better.
The OCAs I have I get from mistress, sometimes ktullanux and also I usually pick up the ones we get as MVP reward from Randgris and Ifrit.

Three theories about the anti-evil helm.
1: Crusader card set; though I'm not entirely sure what Doddler needs holy armor for.
2: Possibly reduce damage from Evil Land.
3: Possibly reduce damage from Hell's Judgment.

Anti Evil Helm is Helm with Permeter Card which gives 15% resistance against Shadow and Undead Property attacks.
