i had a question about you lif =P
how does she hit 1K damage in your mvp video?
Kurt Donavan wrote on May 12, 2008
Falen Bishop have 0 hard Mdef, I think a GC Paladin with Shadow armor can do a good amount of damage on him and enduring the Fallen Bishop´s Dark Cross an Grand Cross, but will require a good player skill of the suport, and maybe a on/off battle chant can remove Critical Wounds and Slow cast (requiring a re-cast of assumpition and bless, and re-activing guard)

Thx :D, and keep posting videos like that, challenging Mvps :D
lcronovt wrote on May 12, 2008
I wish you continue uploading this type of videos, also it will be a good idea to upload video of the new updates on iRO or kRO this will be a plus to your guides.
What would be the next MvP challenge? or is a secret? xD

Great vid. Not bad for the first time)
small tip: get a wizzy. Not for damage, just to freeze those damned banshees. It helps a lot. With strings and dex equip wizzie can really be a "crowd control master" ^__^
Nordon wrote on May 13, 2008
Sure, SG will freeze banshees that are on ME...
Lozrat wrote on May 13, 2008
@Kurt Donavan : Battle Chant does not remove Critical Wounds. Also, Magic Mirror would rape the Paladin. Magic is NOT the way to go when fighting the Bishop.
@Doddler : Personal suggestion. I am fairly certain you aren't a fan of Shield Reflect but you may want to consider when tanking the Bishop + mob, to put on a quad silence weapon and shield reflect. The "attacks" will have the 20% silence rate on banshees. Could also do something similar with a stun weapon but then the banshees might go into random targeting mode alot faster. When you feel enough are silenced, switch back to normal tank weapon. (Fortune Sword or whatever your weapon of choice may be.)

Nice video, nice music, nice party. You would just have needed more damage dealers. One sinx isn't quite enough to deal 3,3m damage. Lozrat's idea of muting the Banshees with Shield Reflect sounds good, too.

2Nordon
Where did u find ME in that vid?
Doddler wrote on May 13, 2008
Muting the banshees is actually a pretty sound plan, if you watch the video we manually silenced a couple of the banshees when we had a chance but it wasn't really effective. My sader is geared for resistant souls and guard, unfortunately shield reflect isn't available with my build. I guess any area attack, such as mag break will probably do the job though!

Great run guys, even when you say that this is your first time challenging bishop this vid proves that you have a lot of experience in mvp killing and a great teamwork, everybody should be aware that what you guys have is one single dmg dealer, one tanker and just the necesary support crew, this also proves that quality is better than quantity, i hope you keep showing us how this great pure guts mvp pwning has to be done, thumbs up guys~
again sry for my far from good english~

I wonder if Panacea, Pilule (from Doctor's Little Helper Quest) or another usable item can counter Critical Wounds.
Is there any way to ignore his Magic Mirror skill? 0 MDEF is really sexy for ME priests.
Choclate Milk wrote on May 13, 2008
great vid....... i've seen fallen bishop on my training with partys on the 2nd floor of nameless island........i hope the next vid is going to be one a beelzebub i only saw his mob in 3f but never got to see the MVP itself
does magnetic earth cancels attacks to the people inside form the out side? if so get fallen bishop to be outside the magnetic and putt ME from the preist on him to do some dammage.....not sure if it works just a suggestion ^_^
Doddler wrote on May 13, 2008
While Hibram takes a load of damage from magic attacks, he uses Magic Mirror that basically will cause magic users to kill themselves on reflected magic damage. Its a decent idea, and we have had a magic user try to kill him but its not usually worth it.
Zable Fahr wrote on May 13, 2008
"We're sorry, this video is no longer available."
oô... Whatever, I'd take sth. Else as a tank + RS + Sacrifice + Dark armor.
Theoreticall this would be twice 25% reduction from the Holy Attack, since both occurs, he is demon and uses holy attacks.
---> 56.25% ?
Too bad a holy-reduction garment doesn't exist ^^
But: I love seeing such videos, keep it up :D
Kurt Donavan wrote on May 13, 2008
Sage´s Dispell don´t remove Magic Mirror ?

i good hw with good equips can sg kill bishop, do about 3k per sg hit to him. all you need is a hp and hw and minstrel, dont even need tank cauz sg can just freeze all the banshees. but you have to back up once in a while because bishop will slowly advance.
Terpsichore wrote on May 14, 2008
How to bishop:
Instacast HW+HP.
HW into swall+magic amp, pull bishop into sg, keep using amp+sg and move around circling from time to time till bishop dies, enjoy easy mode exp.
HP to buff+swall, ocassionaly heal and get rid of respawns.

Nice Video..
Doesn't Shadow Armor give Immunity to Curse Status?
It would be less work if you wear shadow armor.. Peerless on the low vits and maybe a sleep weapon to sleep the banshee..
Doddler wrote on May 14, 2008
HWiz doesn't seem particularly fit to MVP Hibram... anyways we've been getting better so I might make a new video.
Zeze: Shadow armor blocks shadow element attacks, which blocks some forms of cursing (particularly shadow element attacks that cause curse!). Unfortunately Hibram uses area curse and hell's judgement, both of which will curse regardless of armor. Unfortunately, the only way to achieve curse immunity is with the Evil Snake Lord card (or a lot of vit). Usually we carry around extra holy water now.
Derahel wrote on May 14, 2008
@monokill & Terpsichore: the real problem is the Magic Mirror skill (which Hibram 'ocasiolaly' uses), it works much like Maya Card, reflecting magic damage back to the caster.
Doddle, I can avoid Banshee's Critical Wounds by simply silencing them, but how to avoid Hibram's?
RR wrote on May 14, 2008
post a vid of doing valkR!
Terpsichore wrote on May 14, 2008
Hibram is somewhat bugged if under sg spam and doesn't use skills, just ocassionaly if there is a delay in sg spam or you move near him.
AK wrote on May 14, 2008
He is not "bugged". He will, however, only cast Magic Mirror if he hits you, so throwing an SG before luring him into it can avoid being magic reflected. This method does not require a tank at all, as the MVP falls into more or less of a hit lock.
K wrote on May 15, 2008
Disregard monokill & Terpsichore, they are pserver players.
On pservers you can just "hitlock" any MVP with Storm Gust and they won't fight back at all.
