Love Letters and OCA's

So I woke up today, and decided I should check my mail.
...
I must admit this isn't the first time this kind of thing happens... but it does suprise me every time it does! Those fans, they're cool, but they can be scary at times.
So I decided I havn't done anything really sadistic lately that would cause any self loathing since my last Baphomet run. Mistress isn't giving me enough troubles lately, so I decided to check out the second most annoying MVP in the game, Lady Tanee. I don't have access to my LK account since I can't afford to pay for it so I took out my basic gear from storage (including my supersexy +7 pumpkin hat), and went down to Ayothaya.
The before shot... 43 bombs, 8:26am.
She honestly wasn't that bad. She didn't teleport quite as often as I expected her to. I got exiled a few times, but overall, it went pretty smoothly. She does hurt though.
13 minutes from start to finish, and 24 bombs. Atleast I break even with the Gakkung Bow and Elu.
I decided to go kill Dracula. Dracula didn't drop anything, but I got tights from a random Jakk. What luck.
Just a random thought, Shikieiki looks pretty good in green.
I did go kill Mistress. Of all things, there was competition again, they happened to be there when it spawned. I owned them pretty good though, only took me 2 minutes to find her. And again, I got another OCA.
I can't resist. OCA's are worth so much to sell... but they're so shiny and the prospect of getting a good card is just too tempting. I could really use a GR for mvp hunting...

Spawn Tracking and Upgrading

So today I decided I would update RODE with the new map spawns. Its quite a simple process. I use my custom homunculus AI that records monster IDs, and run across the map until I'm certain I've seen each and every single monster. I copy the log file out of the directory, update RODE map info, and move on to the next map.
You do see some odd things like this. These guys were all stuck on one cell for some reason.
I got all the fields, but thor volcano appeared to be a race to see how much spawn info I can get before I start losing % exp. Unfortunately, its not that much, as homunculus has no spawn immunity.
And I gave up after 3% loss at 95. I got 1f's spawns aproximate, you better be happy with just that!
Bored, I took some time off at the races. Got a few double race wins! Not bad.
Still a long way to go though.
I also came along the idea that I needed a brutal stone buckler. My goal was a +6 one... so I grabbed a stone buckler off the shelf.
Not to be discouraged, I bought more.
And...
I hate this game sometimes.
One made it to +5... I wanted +6, but I didn't want to risk it cause I don't have much money.
I... guess not. I'll have to stick to +5.

Rachel Fun

So I figured I'd take a break from the norm MVP'ing and decided to sit down to an hour or so of good leveling for Shikieiki (my Lif). After some careful consideration, I decided to head down to Rachel Sanctuary.
I can see why Rachel is popular for homunculus users. While the debuffs and powerful attacks are very annoying to most people, they do not affect you when you can dodge them. And dodging is easy against these things.
These things seemed to drop quite frequently. Its a real shame that they dropped in price so much, cause I have a whole bunch of them now.
Enough to equip all my characters.

TKM!

So I finally hit job 40 on my Taekwon kid. I mostly did it hoping I would find a porcellio card I could use on my LK, but apparently I'm not that lucky.
I kind of like the Taekwon Master quest. Unlike other job change quests where it seems to be just plain labor, you kind of get the feeling that you're learning something. The quest gives TKM's a very unique feel, which unfortunately I don't think is very well expressed in the classes actual skills.
And I'm done.
